Myspace Layout HELP?

Why is it that when i go to sites that give out free layout codes and when i put the code on myspace in the about me section only certain parts of the background show??? For examples the background image doesnt show but the tables do......... And then the background image shows but the table image doesnt..... Is there a reason why this happens and can someone link me to some good layout codes please??? Thank you.

that sounds like there could a problem with the code. either the code isn't complete or there's conflicting commands in it that cancels things out. below is a list of great sites for layouts, codes, graphics etc, and the steps to get the background up.

the layouts are usually divided up into categories. once you find a layout you like follow these steps:

1. pick the layout and look for the code the website provides(usually right below the image, or it'll say "click here to get this layout")

2. copy the code.

3. log into your myspace so it's on your home page and hit edit profile.

4. paste the code that you copied into your "about me" section.

5. save that and then view your profile and your new layout should be up.
